ESG by Stamdata – coming soon
Lately, 12 of Norwayâs leading asset managers contributed to a master thesis project at the BI- Business School of Norway by sharing their pains and gains related to ESG-data and SFDR-reporting compliance. The studentsâ objective was to develop and test an ESG-data value proposition for a new Stamdata service idea using best practice innovation theory, and by building deep knowledge of asset managersâ needs and challenges using open innovation methodology.
Based on the projectâs findings, Nordic Trustee/ Stamdata recently initiated an innovation project together with our asset manager clients, with the ambition to build an ESG-database in line with local needs and requirements, constructed with Stamdataâs technical expertise and Nordic Trusteeâs infrastructure. We will use our experience in market data and digitalization to try to overcome the ESG-data challenges the local market faces. The target is to provide an ESG-data service with 100% coverage on bond issuers by the end of 2022.
